A wiki is an easy-to-use web page that multiple people can edit. A wiki enables documents to be written collaboratively, in a simple markup language using a web browser. A single page in a wiki is referred to as a "wiki page", while the entire body of pages, which are usually highly interconnected via hyperlinks, is "the wiki".

A wiki is essentially a database for creating, browsing and searching information. A defining characteristic of wiki technology is the ease with which pages can be created and updated. Generally, there is no review before modifications are accepted. Many wikis are open to the general public without the need to register any user account.

MBC will use its wiki pages to connect MBC members, document online meetings, share information and resources, initiate more collaboration, celebrate member achievements and successes, promote events and lastly, create greater business and economic opportunity.

With a wiki, you can create a web page easily and quickly. Additionally, you can attach a file or spreadsheet to your wiki. Third, users can embed a video or share a calendar on a wiki page. Fourth, collaborate with others online to plan an event. Fifth, users can create PDFs, slide shows and word documents from a wiki page. Lastly, you can chat with another person online!
